We are a young, dynamic, and ambitious restaurant that has brought the mix of scents and colors from Tel Aviv to Antwerp. After almost three years, we are ready to bring this piece of Tel Aviv to other cities in Belgium. Ghent is the first on the schedule, around mid-October! For Boker Tov, we are looking for a Sous Chef in Ghent, to whom we offer an all-inclusive package with favorable conditions:

What are we looking for? The funky cuisine of Boker Tov is all about an abundance of fresh herbs and vegetables, bright flavors, and seasonings. The menu features typical Middle Eastern dishes like baba ganoush and labneh, as well as sabich, a pita filled with eggplant, hummus, hard-boiled egg, and vegetables. You will play a significant role in this kitchen.

Your tasks
• You will lead a small but cool team.
• Responsible for perfect mise en place.
• Placing orders and checking deliveries.
• Preparing and garnishing dishes.
• Organizing kitchen activities.
• Following HACCP guidelines.
• Responsible for P&L.

• Strong experience in the hospitality industry, including 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

What are we looking for?
The funky place Boker Tov is the perfect balance between coziness and the metropolitan buzz of Tel Aviv. A melting pot of cultures, religions, and delightful culinary traditions. In this place, you'll play a significant role.

Your tasks

• Developing restaurant revenue.
• You are responsible for managing and motivating the team.
• Training according to Boker Tov standards (onboarding, day-to-day, menus).
• Ensuring the Boker Tov experience for every customer in line with Boker Tov's hospitality rules.
• Labor cost - productivity (schedules, preparing payroll closure).
• F&B cost (creating and monitoring accurate and timely orders).
• Store profit (achieving budgeted store-level profit).
• Also following HACCP guidelines.
• Striving for continuous improvement in employees, products, and yourself.
• Inventory management.
• The daily management of digital platforms according to guidelines.
• Monitoring the proper functioning of equipment and tools.
